So, I can't believe it's already December! It's almost Christmas. I keep telling myself "Oh, you've got plenty of time to get your Christmas shopping done." But Christmas is only 20 days away!

We met this awesome couple and their sweet Lola a few years ago, and let me just say, I am so happy to be able to call them my friends! We had so much fun joking around and shooting in the little town of El Dorado the other day. By the time we finished the shoot, my face hurt from laughing so much!

Sanguinetti Family | Grizzly Flats

Just a few days before Thanksgiving, the upper half of our county was graced with a beautiful blanket of fresh snow. I was lucky - and adventurous! - enough to travel up to 4000 feet and photograph the wonderful Sanguinetti Family at their beautiful home in the mountains of Grizzly Flats. Vitale Family | Camino

I have to say the light in the afternoons this Fall have been absolutely stunning. I was so happy when the Vitale's asked me to come and photograph their sweet family. What a perfect afternoon; the air was crisp, the sun was warm, the leaves were turning, and the company was great!

Hope Valley with Grandma and Grandpa Bartneck

Each year at Hope Valley, the aspens turn stunning shades of gold, mustard and ochre. The crisp autumn wind breezes through the lodgepole and bristlecone pines while the sun peeks through the clouds framing these brilliant trees creating views that are absolutely breathtaking. I was so happy when my parents allowed me to tag along on a quick day trip up to this gorgeous valley.

It's amazing how one's first grandchild can make a permanent smile, isn't it?

Lily - One Month

I can't believe that Lily is a month old already. Having a baby was something that I always wanted, and I can't even describe how wonderful it is. It's everything I thought and more. She brings light into our little house.

Daddy gave our little girl a great big stuffed dog as a present for when she was born. Boy, does Daddy love her!

Lily Dora -3 weeks!

Our little girl at 3 weeks old. What a joy she is! It's been so incredibly fun watching her learn and grow, and the adorable facial expressions she's capable of! Even when she's grumpy, she's just so precious. Enjoy!
