Hope Valley with Grandma and Grandpa Bartneck

Each year at Hope Valley, the aspens turn stunning shades of gold, mustard and ochre. The crisp autumn wind breezes through the lodgepole and bristlecone pines while the sun peeks through the clouds framing these brilliant trees creating views that are absolutely breathtaking. I was so happy when my parents allowed me to tag along on a quick day trip up to this gorgeous valley.

Can you see the little blue dot that my mom is holding? That's my sweet little Lily!

Grandpa only has eyes for his little granddaughter.

It's amazing how one's first grandchild can make a permanent smile, isn't it?
