Isaiah's mama, Sarah, and I have been friends now for 15 years or so. I was so excited when she contacted me and asked if we could do 1 year old portraits for her sweet little son. Let me tell you,  I nearly took this bundle of cuteness home with me! He is sweet, laid back, smiley, and absolutely adorable! Sarah, you are one amazing mom to have such an amazing son! Cheers!

Dominic + Meital | North Lake Tahoe Wedding Sneak Peek

I love the mountains. I take every opportunity I can to go up where the air is fresh and clean, the trees are green, and beauty is absolutely everywhere you look. A few weekends ago, I was fortunate enough to shoot a wedding in North Lake Tahoe at the gorgeous Tunnel Creek Lodge. All I can say is, Wow!! The  venue was pristine. And the wedding party was one of dreams; laid back, ready to party, and so much fun! Here's a little sneak peek of the day. Enjoy!

Parker Baby Bump Session | Placerville

Kyle and Alex are two of the most fun people I know. Alex is the kind of girl who can rock sushi earrings and a pair of jelly shoes. Kyle is the kind of guy who could perform a perfect roundhouse kick to the head of a bad guy, all while quoting just about any movie from the 80's. Seriously, these people are awesome. All through Alex's pregnancy, these two love birds have absolutely soaked their little one in love. It was such a joy photographing them around downtown Placerville. 

Jake + Jessica | Placerville Wedding Sneak Peek

Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding for some friends! I have to say, there is nothing better than living in a small town and shooting a wedding where there are so many familiar smiling faces! I couldn't wait to post a sneak peek of Jake & Jessica's sweet country wedding at the beautiful Fausel Ranch here in Placerville. Keep those eyes peeled for a full post, soon!

Briggs Family | Placerville

I'm so excited about living in a new place. We've met several of the neighbors, and I'm very happy to report that they are so nice! The Briggs family lives just a couple doors down, and have the most adorable little girl, who is just a few months older than my own little girl! Hooray for new friends!

Jesse + Christy | Engagement

I can't believe my little brother is getting married! It was such a blast last weekend doing a little engagement session for him and Christy. They were nervous, excited, smiling. Just how I like couples! We did a few shots at Jesse's house, and then popped over to downtown Placerville to have fun with some of the historic architecture there. 

They met at the county fair. Three years later, he proposed at the very spot they met.

I just adore this ring. Isn't it gorgeous? And he picked it out all by himself! 

Congratulations, you two. I'm so happy for you both!
